Samuel Dowdy is on the Dean's List at Ashland University

Samuel Dowdy of Sarver, PA is on the Dean's List for the spring semester at Ashland University.

Dowdy, who graduated in May, was majoring in integrated social studies.

He is the son of Rev. Jonathan and Kathleen Dowdy of Sarver.

Dowdy is a 2009 graduate of Central High School.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled full time and achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
