She is the daughter of Patrick and Carol Riley of Pittsburgh.

Riley is a 2009 graduate of Mt Lebanon High School.

The Honors Program at Ashland University provides academically talented undergraduate students cross-disciplinary experiences, participation in an intellectual community devoted to discussion and dialogue, and special projects and courses that challenge the mind.   • Honors social events such as game nights, Pizza with the Profs, wallyball, Honors Retreat and more
  • Honors Capstone Project through which you work closely with a faculty member on an in-depth original project related to your major
  • Study abroad experiences have included a recent trip to the Capitals of Europe including London, Paris, Berlin, and Prague and the upcoming May 2013 Grecian and Turkish Odyssey with travel to Athens and Istanbul
