Tyler Lance of Chagrin Falls, OH, is a member of the cross country team at Ashland University.

Lance is majoring in digital media journalism.

He is the son of Ken and Lisa Lance of Chagrin Falls. Lance is a 2014 graduate of Kenston High School.

The Ashland University cross country team competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). Last year, Ashland placed second in the NCAA Division II All-Ohio Championships meet and fifth in the GLIAC Championship. The Ashland University cross country team is led by head coach Jacob Sussman. The Eagles' next meet is Sept. 15 at the Michigan State University Spartan Invitational.
