Tyler Sibbersen is a Member of Ashland University's Football Team That is Now Ranked 13th in the Nation

Tyler Sibbersen of Toledo, OH is a member of the Ashland University football team that is now ranked 13th in the nation in the Division II American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) poll.

Sibbersen is majoring in forensic chemistry.

He is the son of James and Laura Sibbersen of Toledo.

Sibbersen is a 2011 graduate of Clay Senior High School.

Ashland was ranked 17th in last week's poll. AU won at Northern Michigan last Saturday, 42-13. The Eagles are one of four GLIAC teams in this week's Top 25 poll. Grand Valley State is ranked fourth, Saginaw Valley State is 16th and Wayne State is 18th. Hillsdale and Michigan Tech are listed among, "Others Receiving Votes," in this week's poll.

The Eagles are 4-0, 3-0 in GLIAC play. This is the first time Ashland has been 4-0 since the 1991 season. This Saturday (Sept. 29, 7 p.m.) the Eagles host Lake Erie.
