Zach Humrichouser of Wooster, OH, is a member of the 2016-2017 Ashland University Track & Field team. The Eagles, who entered as No. 1-ranked men and No. 15-ranked women, took 19 individuals to NCAA indoor nationals.

The men's track and field team finished as runner-up in the NCAA Division II National Championship, finishing second as a team in indoor nationals. There were 12 first-team All-American honors for the Eagles from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), which is a D-II-high. The track and field teams started their 2017 outdoor season at the Raleigh Relays and the Weems Baskin Invitational.

Humrichouser is majoring in integrated social studies.

He is the son of Allen and Laurie Humrichouser of Wooster. Humrichouser is a 2013 graduate of Wooster High School. Humrichouser, a senior, runs distance for the Eagles.

The Ashland University men's and women's track and field team competes in NCAA Division II in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). The Eagles are led by head coach Jud Logan, now entering his 23rd season as a coach and his 12th season as head coach. The Eagles play their home games at Ferguson Field located next to the football stadium. The Eagles hope to return to the top of the GLIAC with a mixture of veterans and new faces in key positions.
